This thread is for you to tell what book or work of literature you're currently reading, or to talk about other books that have been posted in this thread.

I'm currently reading a book called...something, i forget. i'll edit this when i can actually go look at the title.

it's about an autistic boy who finds a neighbors dog stabbed with a garden fork. he ends up doing detective work, and finds out a lot more than he intended on.

i don't really enjoy the book that much, it's a mandatory read over the summer (fucking Nazis!). the main character is constantly contradicting himself. he says he doesn't like understand why people would think about something that didn't happen, yet he is constantly imagining himself being an astronaut, etc. the main character reminds me Holden Caufield from Catcher in the Rye, because he is the biggest fucking hypocrite in the world.

EDIT: the book title is "The Curious Incedent of the Dog in the Nightime"
